The Rev. William F. Luck, Sr. is a former Professor of Bible and Theology at the Moody Bible Institute. He earned a MA in Philosophy of Religion at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He earned an MDiv (and post-graduate work in historical theology) at McCormick Theological Seminary. After working for several years with Probe Ministries of Dallas, lecturing on major university campuses around the country, He was invited to teach at Moody where, for over a decade, he taught Bible and theology, including apologetics, Biblical ethics, Church history and the history of Christian thought. He resigned to become President of LodeStar Ministries, Intl. of Wheaton where he edited the LodeStar Review.

Rev. Luck was for a time the Pastor of the Itasca Evangelical Free Church and for many years an adult Sunday School teacher at the Wheaton Bible and Wheaton Evangelical Free Churches. He has been an officer of the Evangelical Theological Society and President of the Evangelical Philosophical Society. He has published numerous articles and reviews in Moody Monthly, Christianity Today, the Southern Presbyterian Journal, the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society, and others. In 1987 he published Divorce and Remarriage; Recovering the Biblical View (Harper & Row). He is presently retired.
