About:

Lana has been involved in teaching the Bible for many years. For 24 years she was a Teaching Leader and Area Adviser for Bible Study Fellowship. She has been the featured speaker at countless women's retreats, university lectureships, and training seminars.

She was reared in Tucson, Arizona, the youngest of eight children. Her godly parents made their home a place of love and laughter, and a place where the most important aspect of living was one's relationship with the Lord. Shaped by her father's biblical instruction and his example, she grew up with an appreciation for the value of Scripture. Her college education took place at Abilene Christian University, receiving a B.A. in English. She married Dick Wisenbaker and they have three grown children. Other involvements in ministry include writing curriculum for women's Bible studies, serving on the advisory board of Love In Action, and being a regular participant in mentoring relationships.
