Dan Lioy (Ph.D. in New Testament, Potchefstroom University, South Africa) is a Postgraduate Supervisor at South African Theological Seminary as well as an ordained minister with the Evangelical Church Alliance.

He is the editor of the KJV/NIV International Bible Lesson Commentary (Cook Communications Ministries) and the author of three monographs published by Peter Lang: The Search for Ultimate Reality: Intertextuality Between the Genesis and Johannine Prologues (2005), The Decalogue in the Sermon on the Mount (2004), and The Book of Revelation in Christological Focus (2003). Dan lives with his wife, Marcia, and their son, Joshua, in Salem, Oregon.
