About:

"Live the epic life! Go big for God!" People familiar with Pastor Bob's teachings over 25 years on Kaua'i know his passion for living for Christ with conviction and courage. Bob pastored at Crossroads Christian Fellowship from 1996 through his retirement in 2019. Prior to ministry on Kaua'i, he served as Associate Pastor in upstate New York and on Oahu. Bob graduated from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary (M.Div. 1989) and University of Hawaii (B.A. Speech; minor in Business,1980). Bob was diagnosed with aggressive stage 4 prostate cancer in 2017. He embraced his cancer platform with the joy and peace that only God could give. Although retired and living with cancer, he continued what he loved most—the organic ministry of divine appointments with people: sharing the gospel, encouraging believers, mentoring young leaders, coaching pastors and helping people navigate cancer. In December 2021, Bob finished his earthly race and is now celebrating with all of Heaven's saints! While he is sorely missed, his legacy will live on through the countless lives he influenced, bearing abundant fruit for years to come. He was a man of great courage, unwavering integrity, and loving-kindness.

Bob committed his life to Christ at a young age, but it wasn't until he was 17 that he realized he was still unfulfilled despite numerous achievements. Inspired by the lives of fellow Christian students, Bob recommitted his life to Christ and experienced an incredible lifting of guilt and a new love for God and others. During his college years, God confirmed His calling on Bob's life for full time ministry. While serving at a church in Hawaii, Bob fell in love with Becky and married (1987), becoming lifetime partners in ministry. Desiring further training, they left for seminary and became convinced of the immense value of personal discipleship. In New York, Bob focused primarily on leadership development and discipleship. After ten years of ministry in the northeast, God led Pastor Bob and Becky across the continent, back to Hawaii, carrying the same passion for evangelism and discipleship.

For the next 23 years, Pastor Bob and Becky poured their heart and soul into building a healthy fellowship that was committed to 1) Loving God, 2) Loving Others and 3) Making Disciples. What was once a struggling church became known as a very unique, loving, outreach-oriented fellowship. Over many years, God blessed the church beyond anyone’s expectations: launching radio stations, entrusting the church with 66 acres for ministry development, establishing Kaua'i Bible College, planting new churches, and setting up a drug rehabilitation program.

Bob wanted his well-developed sermon outline notes to be made available to other leaders and pastors.
