TREASURE CHEST OF PRAISES AND PRAYER:

Each month we are blessed by how God has worked here at bible.org. Beginning with this month of June 2010, we will keep this section a running account of those thoughts that show our readers how God is at work amongst us, both the prayer needs and the answers as that is  one thing that has been lacking in our newsletters; the sharing on how God has been at work. Join with us in praising God!  Join us in praying for needs not met or other needs as you see them listed below.

NOTE: This page will be updated each month with the answers as we receive them that you may be encouraged and join us in prayer. 

We asked you to pray. Now see the answers below each prayer request. 

For June 2010 please join us in prayer for:

•    wisdom and discernment; holiness, and purity for the bible.org staff and volunteers.

UPDATE:  Thank you for your consistency in this matter.  Each day humbly we walk in accordance with Is 30:21 You will hear a word spoken behind you, saying, “This is the correct way, walk in it,” whether you are heading to the right or the left."
  

    Scholars who will be on sabbatical preparing manuscripts, books, articles, speaking engagements; and courses for the fall. The ones that we are aware of are: Dr. Sue Edwards, Dr. Michael Burer, and Dr. Darrell Bock.May they “redeem the time” that they are given for this work.

UPDATE: Bocks and Burer Families are "on the move" across the Atlantic for a year of study and writing. Continue to pray for wisdom, safety,efficiency in their work and for family adjustments. (Schools for children, new churches, finding the way around new cities, money, transportation and housing).

•    Sandra Glahn as she works on her preparation for September date for her final leg of her higher degree. Please also continue to pray for Sandi's family as they join her in this journey; pray for continued healing of the grief her recently widowed sister continues to face each day and the juggling of work and single parenting

UPDATE: We often say "no news is good news"  and in that vein, we trust that we might be faithful to obey 1 Thess 5:17 "pray without ceasing" even if we do not hear any news.
•    missionaries around the globe who are using the bible.org materials.
•    those involved in Muslim ministries who shall remain unnamed here for their safety; open doors, to note and   find “persons of peace” who are ready to hear the truth of the gospel’s saving message.
•    freedom to share the gospel wherever God has planted us.
•    New authors to join the bible.org team;

For July: Please pray and expectantly await God's marvelous provision:

The summer months are upon us and just as with other ministries, bible.org faces a shortfall due to many who go on “holiday”. We earnestly ask that you not forget bible.org so that the ministry can go forward.
Spammers have hit bible.org as they have many other ministries. Because of the massive amounts of commercial links that have been added to forums and blog comments we have had to take time from our work to remove them. We prayerfully ask that you do not include those as we are a ministry site.

UPDATE: More commercial links removed as of June 28th. Please continue to pray specifically for those who take advantage of bible.org's ministry first approach.
