NOTE: Manually installed (side-loaded) books will not sync between devices. If that is important to you, go get the file directly from Amazon. However, this is probably not a useful feature in a Bible since you skip around a lot.
To download ebooks quickly to your Kindle via USB, follow these simple instructions:
- Plug the larger end of the USB cable into an available USB port or a powered USB hub connected to your computer.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to the micro-USB port on the bottom of your Kindle. Your Kindle will go into USB drive mode and appear in the same location you would normally find an external USB drive.
- Use your computer's file browser to drag and drop files to and from Kindle making sure to drop files in the 'Documents' folder on Kindle.
- When finished, use your computer's undock, eject, or unmount feature to remove your Kindle.
ePub Manual Installation Instructions:
- if using safari on iPhone/iPad/iPodTouch, click the ePub link and tell it to open in iBooks
- if on desktop, right mouse click the zipped version and chose save as...
- unzip file and you get NETNOTELESS.epub
- drag epub file to your NOOK or other device
- or open epub in itunes and sync with iphone/ipad
- or open in desktop app like Adobe Digital Editions
