Hints and Tips

Multi-Language Resource: do you know a pastor or church leader ministering in French, Romanian, or Russian contexts?

The quarterly NET Pastor’s Journal produced by Roger Pascoe is always posted with a translation into these three languages on Bible.org. The goal of this resource for pastors is “to strengthen the church in biblical preaching and leadership.” So if you know of pastors or churches ministering in these language contexts please feel free to recommend it to them. Their full catalog of journal issues may be found here.

Awarding Faithfulness

This month we had the joy of giving out two awards for translation efforts. The first award was for reaching the 10 article milestone (Jenny). She received an ePub book by Irving L. Jensen entitled, Enjoy Your Bible: Making the Most of Your Time with God’s Word. The second award was for reaching the 75 article milestone (Mariza). She received an ePub book by Robert Patterson entitled, Robert Chapman: The Apostle of Love. We pray that these resources are a blessing to you both in your personal lives and ministry.

For further Award program details see our Translator’s Group post.

Know someone else who is bilingual?

We recently had a request for material in Creole for a Bible Institute in Haiti. However, we had to let them know that we currently did not have any material in that language. The need is great around the world for quality Bible Study Material. So…

If you know of anyone else who would have the time and skills to translate articles for Bible.org please consider recommending this ministry to them. Sometimes the most obvious gifts (like preaching or being a leader) are not the ones with the most impact or need. This is a real opportunity to meet a need and impact thousands and thousands of people with the truth of God's Word. Click here to contact us and begin impacting thousands around the world
