Job 28-31 (part eight)

Wisdom is a tricky thing. Elusive but accessible. Complex but simple. Costly but free. Wisdom is affiliated with age, but not everyone with age has wisdom. Wisdom is deserving of honor, but not all who are honored have wisdom. Experience and suffering can foster wisdom, but not everyone who suffers emerges wiser as a result. Valuable and worth pursuing, wisdom becomes its own reward for those who find it. The measurable result of wisdom is a morally-upright life that aligns with the will of God who gave it in the first place.
