AbstractFor the sixth sign recorded in the Gospel of John, Jesus encounters a grown man who had been blind since birth. We don’t know his name. We don’t learn his age. He awoke that morning thinking this day would be no different than any other. He could not have imagined that this day he would not only gain his sight, but he would also gain his salvation and his name recorded in the Bible for millions throughout history to read and receive encouragement. This day would change his life forever. And according to Jesus, this miracle took place “so that the acts of God may be revealed through what happens to him.” Certain Jewish leader, however, did not approve of Jesus’ miracle. Their vision was 20/20 but they remained spiritually blind, unable to see the Light of the World.
