3. God Remembers His People (Exodus 2:11-25)

Exodus (part three)

Certainly God does not forget, and yet the Bible does describe God “remembering” from time to time. After the Hebrews had suffered under Egyptian oppression for decades, God remembers His people and initiates His plan to deliver them. It will still take some time, but Israel’s dark season in a hard and hopeless place is about to come to an end. What hard and hopeless situation are you facing? Invite God in. Invite Him to “remember” you and, if it is His will, to initiate His plan to deliver you. In the meantime, remain patient and full of faith in our God who rescues.
