Exodus (part twelve)

Pharaoh doesn’t quite understand his perilous situation. He has positioned himself between God and His children by holding the Hebrews in slavery and refusing to allow them to leave Egypt to worship and serve God. He has chosen to exalt himself over the one true God. So God uses the plagues to make an example of Pharaoh, who must learn that there is no one like God. God displays His strength against Pharaoh so that the name of Yahweh may be declared throughout the whole earth.
