Exodus (part ten)

When God wants to get the attention of hard-hearted individuals, He usually chooses tools such as inconvenience and pain. Most of the ten plagues were not life-threatening, but intolerably bothersome. They disrupted everyday life as minute-by-minute reminders that something different was happening in Egypt. Yes, they proved God’s existence and might, but He was also using them to arrest the attention of those who refused to follow His instructions. God says to the Egyptians, “I can keep this up as long as I need to. Are you ready to listen yet? Can you hear me now?”
