Outline:
1. Jesus will take up His Cross (16:21-23).
2. The Disciples will take up their cross (16:24-28).
a. In v. 24 Jesus gives us the essence of Christian discipleship.
b. Jesus give three motivations for discipleship.
#1 - If you give up your life for Christ, you will find it (16:25).
#2 - You can either gain Christ, or the world (16:26).
#3 - You will be rewarded by Jesus if you choose Jesus (16:27).
