The papers, the radio, and the television are daily reminders of the cultural suffering that is affecting each of us on a personal level. But this cloud of gloom presents Christians with a unique opportunity to respond in unexpected ways. With Christ as our Savior, our eternal perspective gives us a positive outlook even when forecasters claim that our futures are bleak. By demonstrating Christian gratitude, joy, and unselfishness, our faith stands out like bright colors on a gray backdrop.
