About:

Julie A. Parton currently resides in the Dallas area and is the Pregnancy Center Specialist for Life Training Institute. From 1998–2005 she was the Director of the Pregnancy Resource Ministry for Focus on the Family in Colorado Springs, CO.  Previously, Dr. Parton founded and directed the Prestonwood Pregnancy Center for Prestonwood Baptist Church in Dallas, TX, after being on staff at the Minirth-Meier Clinic in Dallas as Director of Education and Wellness. She also served as the Teaching Leader of the Dallas class of Bible Study Fellowship (BSF).

 

During her years on staff at Prestonwood Church, she helped direct the Women’s Ministry, teaching many of the weekly Bible study classes.

 

Both her M.Ed. and her Ph.D. are in the field of counseling. Julie and her husband Paul have been married for 40 years; they have 3 grown daughters and 7 adorable grandchildren (including recently born TRIPLETS!)–pictures available upon request!
