Bible.org is pleased to introduce you to Jan Winebrenner. Like our other wonderful women teachers on bible.org she is here to help women all over the world grow in their faith and walk with Christ in pursuit of holiness and spiritual maturity.

Jan Winebrenner is the author of eight books including Intimate Faith: A Woman’s Guide to the Spiritual Disciplines (Warner Faith, 2003) and The Grace of Catastrophe (Moody, 2005). She speaks nationally for spiritual formation retreats, women’s retreats and conferences, university events, as well as local community groups. A freelance writer for 23 years, Jan worked as a feature writer for a parenting magazine and has been published in a wide variety of magazines including Leadership, Today’s Christian Woman, Discipleship Journal, Decision, and The Dallas Morning News. Jan is the founder and director of the Dallas Christian Writers Guild, an active writing community with twenty years of service to aspiring and published writers.

Jan spent her teen years living on the Navajo Indian Reservation in Arizona. She attended Northern Arizona University and then John Brown University, where she met her husband, Ken. Married for 37 years, she is the mother of two adult children, and is active in ministry in her home church in Dallas, Texas.
