Who Raises Himself from the Dead?

From the Series: The Seven Signs of Christ
Printer-friendly versionSend by email

Abstract

The resurrection of Jesus from the dead is, simply put, the most miraculous event in human history. It is also the most significant of His miracles. The other miracles of Jesus were comparatively inconsequential, in that after He “righted” a situation things ultimately went south again (i.e., the recipients of his miracles all eventually died). But Jesus’ resurrection shifts the earth on its axis, so to speak. Nothing will ever be the same again. What’s more, His resurrection from the dead guarantees life after death for His followers. And we, too, will one day enjoy a resurrection body like His.
