Abstract

John Wesley began the Methodist movement. His brother Charles wrote over 3000 hymns packed with theology. They were both influenced by the Christian faith of their mother, Susannah. All together she had 19 children. Though mistreated by her pastor husband and despite the hardships endured during their marriage, she remained committed to her marriage and ministry as a pastor’s wife.
