Nehemiah 4:1-23 1. God’s work is messy (2:11-16) 2. God’s work calls for our participation (2:17-18) 3. God’s work will be opposed (2:19-20) “Almighty God, there are many who oppose You and Your children. Remind us of the spiritual battles taking place all around us. We joyfully acknowledge that Your enemies are powerless against You. Help us to walk by faith when we experience resistance, and help us not to lean on our own strength. May resistance make us grow in righteousness. Give us strength to humbly persist when we encounter opposition. Let Your enemies see Your mighty hand and repent. Cause them to turn to You and side with us. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.”
