From the Series: Hebrews - 26 Part Series
Printer-friendly versionSend by email

The Book of Hebrews portrays Jesus as supreme to a group of people who were thinking about abandoning their faith. According to the author, Christianity is superior and rejecting Jesus is both foolish and spiritually dangerous. The letter contains strong pastoral concern for the readers to continue to follow Christ, and a variety of reasons are given to convince them that Jesus is worth pursuing. He is, after all, the Son of God who created all things. He is, after all, the most precise Revealer of the Father ever offered. He is, after all, the Accomplisher of our salvation. These truths and many more make Jesus still worth following today.
