Abstract

We’ve always been fascinated by angels. And rightly so. They are majestic creatures whose appearance to humans has always elicited great fear and awe. But as magnificent as they are, they cannot compare to Jesus. As God’s Son, He’s in a league entirely different than the angels that He created. They serve at His whim and they respond to His every beck and call. And when they’re not doing His bidding, they’re worshiping Him. As the well-known hymn reminds us: Jesus shines brighter, Jesus shines purer, than all the angels heaven can boast.
