Abstract

It’s all about relationships; it’s all about who you know. Have you ever enjoyed the privilege of having a friend on the inside? As our Mediator, Jesus serves as our Friend in high places. He is uniquely promised to us as our High Priest. Others served in this capacity, but none were placed there by God with an oath. He uniquely holds His priesthood permanently. All others served in this role temporarily. He is uniquely perfect as our Mediator. All others who served in this role were themselves riddled with sin. How nice it is to have a Friend—this Friend—on the inside.
