Abstract

Abraham was a remarkable man. His story highlights mankind’s hope and God’s faithfulness. After God’s promise to Abraham that he would be the father of a great nation, Abraham remained hopeful during difficult seasons while he waited a painfully long time to see God’s fulfillment. His story reminds us that God is never late but seldom early. You and I are invited to imitate those whose hope stood the test of time and trials, like Abraham’s. Our hope is secure because of the One we hope in. God’s faithfulness gives us hope as an anchor for the soul.
