A More Desirable Faithfulness (Hebrews 3:1-11)

Printer-friendly versionSend to friend

Abstract

Moses and Jesus share many similarities. They both faithfully delivered people from slavery toward a far superior Promised Land. Both experienced a certain level of resistance and rebellion in the camp, so to speak, as their followers questioned the direction or destination along the journey. But Jesus was superior to Moses by as much as a Son is superior to a servant. That makes our faithful, persistent response to Him extremely important. Certainly the promise of a glorious destination does not mean the path will be trouble-free. Are you faithfully, unquestioningly, obediently following your Deliverer as He faithfully leads you from slavery to sin, through this wilderness, and to the Promised Land?
