A More Desirable Endurance (Hebrews 12:1-11)

From the Series: Hebrews - 26 Part Series

What does it look like when God loves you? Perhaps it doesn’t look the way we initially think it should. According to the Bible, much of our suffering is a demonstration of God’s love for us called discipline. And He only disciplines the ones He loves. He loves us enough not to leave us alone. He disciplines us for our benefit. Having said that, God doesn’t ask us to endure suffering without 1) enduring it Himself and 2) providing motivation for us to endure. Are you seeing the loving hand of God in your unwelcomed circumstances? Are you enduring your suffering and striving to grow in holiness? Are you embracing God’s painful love?
