The Church is Zealous (Acts 9:1-25)

The Glorious Church (part seven)

We, the Church, recognize that Jesus is the Son of God. We confess that we have recovered from the Gospel, which has become ordinary in our experience and resulted in our indifferent response. We lack an eternal perspective that fuels our passion for our Savior. We proudly assume that we have outgrown our zeal for the Lord. We long for a movement of God’s Spirit that will shake us out of our complacency. We welcome the humility that precedes zeal. Controlled by Christ’s love for us, we devote our lives to Him as a fitting response to His life given for us.
