The Church is Unleashed (Acts 16:22-40)

The Glorious Church (part eleven)

We, the Church, recognize that God is fully in control. We confess our tendency to question God’s goodness or His sovereignty when bad things happen to us. We remember that the Holy Spirit enables us to respond in an unexpected, supernatural way when facing affliction. We acknowledge that suffering is a stewardship when God allows it. We endeavor to respond supernaturally to suffering by the power of the Spirit. Knowing that a sufferer’s voice is amplified, we want our pain to become a vehicle for the Gospel. We invite God to use our distress to bring others into a relationship with Him.
