The Church is Pure (Acts 15:1-21)

The Glorious Church (part ten)

We, the Church, recognize that God has called us to purity of doctrine and purity of life. We rejoice in our free gift of salvation purchased at so high a cost. We remember that the blood of Jesus is sufficient to cleanse even the worst sinner. We reject the temptation to elevate lesser issues to the status of the Gospel. We deny any expectations placed on people that God hasn’t established. We resist placing unnecessary stumbling blocks in the path of others’ salvation. We want all people to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We joyfully call others to accept this free gift that cannot be earned.
