The Church is Preserving (Acts 27)

The Glorious Church (part fourteen)

We, the Church, recognize that God is using us as a preserving force in our fallen world. We confess that we have not always lived up to this divinely-issued privilege, as opportunities frequently pass by us unclaimed. We know that when the preserving Church is removed from the world, God will bring unprecedented trouble on those who are left behind. We feel our time is short. We acknowledge that many unbelievers who will not give a second thought to God's grace are drawn to His followers when they experience life's storms. We desire to take advantage of these moments for the sake of the Gospel, knowing that the answers being sought through the pain can only be found therein.
