The Glorious Church (part four)

We, the Church, recognize that Jesus Christ is the head of the Church, His body. We believe that the power available to the Church did not diminish after the first century. We confess our blindness to the Spirit’s activity all around us. We acknowledge that we often attribute supernatural effects to natural causes. We rejoice that God our Father continues to perform miracles among us. We long for eyes to see God’s ever-present hand. We anticipate that Jesus will continue to build His Church until He returns.
