Add to My Library Job 1- Graphics Artist
Job description: A graphics artist, capable of making web graphics for articles on the site that we can use on facebook and other places to attract people to the article. Review the series of articles and the graphical representation to attract people to the topic series of the article. We will select articles that would make good e-books.
Candidate Description/ Qualifications: graphical and artistic abilities and the ability to communicate to various age generation.
Candidate Description/ Qualifications: Persons with a good grasp of scripture teaching on spiritual maturity so they can make the model and describe attributes that can be use to classify material on bible.org and the web.
description : An improvement we need to make to the site:
General problem:
1. we have 10,000+ articles on the site that are only tagged by topic and verse. They are not tagged with spiritual maturity level for an example.
2. People come to the site with differing levels of maturity and perceived needs and we do not tell them that this article is aimed at maturity level X (ie. new Christian/ journeyman Christian/ or post seminary Christian) in spiritual discipline Y. This task will not address spiritual assessment as that is a separate task. The question of what spiritual level am I in spiritual discipline xyz will be handled in a separate task. The spiritual disciplines will be defined in this task.
3. We are about Bible studies that help people mature in the Lord and we would like to describe the spiritual maturity journey ("A yellow brick road" ) with at least the following attributes (the skills, knowledge and actions that characterize each maturity step).
o Having done item 3 we will then build a tool that a person can use to help them classify each article on the site as to what step it is most appropriate for which would help them advance to the next maturity step
Proposed description of effort
Develop a set of attributes of each spiritual discipline composed of the skills/knowledge/actions matrix for differing maturity levels in the Christian life and a methodology for analyzing content on bible.org and assigning each article a score on the top 5 criteria.
• The object of this task is to build a “yellow brick road” for people wanting to take the next step in their faith and mature in their walk and relationship with Christ.
• To make progress on this task, we need to develop characteristics and what discriminates “a baby” in maturity to “a mature believer” capable of handing the “meat” of the word. One who demonstrates spiritual fruits in their life so they make non-Christians jealous and wanting what they demonstrate towards others.
Possible example steps in maturity:
1. non believer looking to understand what Christianity is all about
2. brand new believer (one who just accepted Christ and wants to begin the relationship with the living God)
3. level 1 Christian (describe the attributes for this level)
4. level 2 Christian;
5. level N one who has reproduced a new discipler of Christians
