Add to My Library Scripture clearly teaches us that Jesus is the center of God's plan for the world, but we usually think of that in reference to the past: Jesus' death on the cross was the sacrifice which atoned for our sins. Revelation shows us that God has a future plan to manifest his glory on the earth throughkingdom and judgment, and Revelation 5 shows us that Jesus stands at the center of that plan as well. In this passage we see the throne room of heaven and learn that Jesus is the one on whom God's plan rests. There Jesus receives worship because of his central place, and our response should also be uninhibited worship for him.
