I just can’t help it: When I think of Christmas, I think of presents. Perhaps it’s the child in me. But then again, presents were an important part of the original Christmas story. Each valuable gift probably had some significant meaning about the child, Jesus. They were carried from a far-away land in the East and formed a critical part of the worship that Jesus received from the wise men.
And a time will come when the same valuable gifts will be carried to Jesus from the East. With one curious absence . . .
