From this page (with no additional permissions needed), you may download the NET BIBLE and print it for others as long as you give it away and do not charge for it. In this case, free means free. It cannot be bundled with anything sold, nor can you charge for shipping, handling, or anything. It is provided for personal study or for use in preparation of sermons, Sunday school classes, or other noncommercial study. Installing the HTML Help Version

  • Download NET Bible HTML Help Installer (13MB) and save to your computer hard drive.
  • Double click on the file when it is saved. It will extract the html help file program into c:program filesNET Bible First Edition
  • It will place an icon/shortcut on your desktop like this:
  • You'll be able to use the help program version by clicking on the shortcut.
  • Instructions for using the HTML Help Version
  • If you have problems seeing all of the notes, you'll need to download the most recent patches from Microsoft.

Macintosh and Linux users use the following version:

HTML Version like you use on the web

  • Download Zipped HTML (9MB)
  • Unzip the files to your hard drive. This will create a NETBible directory with all the html files in it.
  • Look in the NETBible directory and Double-click on index.htm

HTML Help Version

  • You need to download a CHM reader for the Macintosh or Linux to use this file
  • Download CHM file (13MB)
